OUR FEES FOR IMMIGRATION SERVICES

Initial Consultation

£50 (inclusive of VAT) – Initial consultation fees will be deducted from the final bill if we go on to deal with your case

Fee’s for applications

  • Application for Entry Clearance as a family member of a person present and settled in the UK (spouse, partner, civil partner, parent route, dependent child, adult dependent relative) – £1000-£1200 plus disbursements ( (inclusive of VAT) (Home Office fee £1523,  Immigration Health Surcharge £1872)
  • Applications for leave to remain in the UK as family member of a person present and settled in the UK (spouse, partner, civil partner, parent route, dependent child, adult dependent relative) – £1000-£1200 plus disbursements (inclusive of VAT) (Home Office fee £1033,  Immigration Health Surcharge £1560, Biometric enrolment £19.20)
  • Extension of leave to remain in the UK (spouse, partner, civil partner, parent route, dependent child, adult dependent relative) – £1000-£1200 plus disbursements (inclusive of VAT) (Home Office fee £1033, Immigration Health Surcharge £1560, Biometric enrolment £19.20)
  • EEA Applications (applications under EUSS) – £1000 plus disbursements (inclusive of VAT)
  • Application for Entry Clearance as a visitor – £600 plus disbursements (inclusive of VAT) (Home Office fee £95-£822)
  • Applications under the Points Based System (work and study routes) – £1000- £1500 plus disbursements (inclusive of VAT) (Application fee and immigration health surcharge varies based on route applied for)
  • Applications for Indefinite Leave to Remain (in all categories including 10 years long residence) – £1500 plus VAT and disbursements (Home Office fee £2389)
  • Applications based on Human Rights (This includes 20 years long residence, half of a person’s life in the UK, 7 years continuous residence by a child, lost ties with country of origin)- £1000-1500 plus VAT and disbursements (Home Office fee £1033,  Immigration Health Surcharge £1560, Biometric enrolment £19.20)
  • Applications for discretionary leave to remain in the UK – £1000-£1500 plus VAT and disbursements (Home Office fee £1033, Immigration Health Surcharge £1560, Biometric enrolment £19.20)
  • Application for British Citizenship – £650 plus disbursements (inclusive of VAT) (Home Office Fee £1012-1330)
  • Asylum applications – £3000 plus disbursements (inclusive of VAT) (disbursements may including experts reports and travel expenses to interviews)
  • Ancestry visa applications -£1200 + Disbursements (Inclusive of VAT) (Home Office fee £516-£1033 depending whether it is an application to enter the UK or an in country application, Immigration Health Surcharge £624 per year granted)

The range in price will depend in the complexity of your matter which will be discussed with you. The range in the disbursements will depend on the route you have chosen to apply under.

Applications for more than one individual will be charged at an extra 50% per additional person.

What services are included:

  • Initial attendance and consideration of options and timeline
  • Assessing the most appropriate application based on individual circumstances and discussing the options that are available to you
  • Advising on the requirements of the Immigration Rules and the documents that will be required
  • Within 2 weeks of receiving the evidence we will assess and advise on the evidence. Where necessary requesting further evidence supporting evidence and assisting you to obtain this
  • Preparing the application and submitting it for your approval before submitting the application on your behalf taking into account the deadlines
  • Providing updates on the progress of your matter 
  • Advising on the outcome of the application
  • Advising on next steps that may need to be taken.
  • Discussing with you if an expert is required in your case and advising you in relation to the additional fees to instruct the expert.
  • Should any complication arise, we will discuss them with you and agree a fee for any additional work before it is carried out.

What is not included in the fee’s above

  • Home Office fees – these are paid directly as a part of the application process
  • Barristers fee – this will depend on the type of application that is being made. On average the barrister fee can vary between £350- £1000. (This may attract VAT depending on your residence status in the UK)
  • Other expenses where applicable such as disbursements for medical/expert  evidence. The are not required in many cases but we will advise you as soon as possible if we consider an experts report is necessary.  (These may attract VAT depending on your residence status in the UK)
  • If the Home Office refuse the application- any advice or assistance in relation to an appeal or new application
  • Postage – We send application to the Home Office and documents to yourself by special delivery. There is an additional cost for this which will be dependent of the weight of the documents. We can advise you of the cost at the time that the documents are being sent. 
  • If there is an interview and we do attend with you there will be additional disbursements in respect of our mileage/travel expenses. This cost will range from £30 to £150 plus VAT at 20%.

Timescales

Once we have received the required documents from yourselves we aim to assess these and advise you accordingly within 2 weeks, after which we can start drafting the application. We aim to submit applications within 6-8 weeks from instructions depending on the complexity of the matter and taking into account any deadlines.

We cannot confirm how long the Home Office will take to process the application. Generally in country immigration applications can take between 4-6 months to process but this depends on how busy the Home Office are.  Generally Entry Clearance applications can take between 1-4 months  but this depends on how busy the Home Office is.

We will inform you if we are made aware of increased timescales by the Home Office.

Fees for Court work

Fees for Court work

  • Judicial Review – £3000-£4000 plus disbursements (inclusive of VAT) (Court fees will depend on which stage the matter is at)
  • Immigration Appeals to First Tier Tribunal (lodging grounds of appeal, preparing the case and advocacy at the tribunal)- £1000-£1800 plus disbursements (inclusive of VAT) ( Court fee £140)
  • Immigration Appeals to Upper Tribunal (lodging grounds of appeal, preparing the case and advocacy at the tribunal) – £1500- £2500 plus disbursements (inclusive of VAT)

The range in price will depend in the complexity of your matter which will be discussed with you prior to the commencement of any work.

What services are included:

  • Advising on the requirements of the Immigration Rules and the documents that will be required
  • Assessing and advising on the evidence. Where necessary requesting further evidence supporting evidence and assisting you to obtain this

  • Preparing the appeal
  • Providing updates on the progress
  • Advising on the outcome of the appeal
  • Advising on next steps
