Introduction

We have set out below our average fee estimates for some of the most common types of applications.

These fees are calculated by reference to our hourly rates which vary depending on the experience of the lawyer carrying out the work. They typically cost around £217 per hour plus VAT for work done by solicitors with over 8 years experience, £161 per hour plus VAT for work done by other solicitors, and £118 per hour plus VAT for work done by paralegals.

The fee earners working on your case and how that impacts the fee estimate will always be discussed with you at the outset of any matter. Sejal Karavadra is the lead consultant of our immigration department and specialises in complex immigration cases. She will be supported by the rest of the team in dealing with your case. Regardless of who works on your matter, they will be supervised by Abraham Khan, Solicitor Director.

Disbursements:

All disbursements will need to be paid for separately in addition to the fees for our services. Disbursements are costs that are payable to third parties. We handle the payment of the disbursements on your behalf to ensure a smoother process. Examples of disbursements include home office/visa application fees, immigration health surcharge fee, court application fees, postage, interpreting/translation services, medical reports fees, expert report fees, mileage/travel expenses etc. This is not an exhaustive list and is meant purely as a guide.

HOW LONG WILL MY APPLICATION TAKE?

We cannot guarantee how long the Home Office will take to process your application. Read the current processing times.

If you submit all the required documentation to us in a timely fashion we will normally be able to submit this type of application within 6 weeks of you instructing us, but we will let you know at the earliest opportunity if it is likely to take longer than this.

Please note the anticipated fees are an estimate based on the facts above. All applications are likely to vary and of course, we can give you a more accurate estimate once we have more information about your specific case. Complicated or urgent cases may attract a surcharge, this will be based on an hourly rate basis depending on who works on the case.
